Part 1 of School Doors and Windows Replacement of Aghin Village, Shirak Province 2016-2017

Shirak is known to be the coldest in Armenia. The average temperature is 6℃, and in winter it can reach -30℃. Aghin village’s school was built in 1989 and has never been renovated since.

IWAY sponsored the replacement of all the school’s doors and windows to ensure that the children have a warm and comfortable environment for learning.

Aghin is located on the edge of Akhuryan Reservoir and just in front of the ancient Armenian capital Ani, 2,5 km from the Turkish border.
