Why join the International Women’s Association of Yerevan?

To endeavor to return something to Armenia through charitable events and fundraisers.
To foster goodwill and friendship among members of all countries.
To give financial and material support to philanthropic projects, especially those directed at women and children.
To further members’ knowledge and understanding of Armenia and the other countries represented by its members.
To engage in any activity not contrary to international treaties, the constitution and other legal acts of the Republic of Armenia.

Who can join the IWAY?

Full membership shall be open to all women, over the age of twenty-one and residing in Armenia.
Members shall support the objectives of the Association, have basic abilities to speak and read English, and be willing to contribute time and efforts to its activities.
Membership should strive to include a variety of nationalities. A person’s nationality is defined by citizenship of the person’s primary passport.

How do I become a member?

Step 1

 All applicants should be sponsored by a current member. The candidate shall attend as a
guest of a steady member at an official IWAY monthly meeting

The candidate submits an application

The board inspects the application and votes

Step 4

If accepted, the candidate will receive a welcome email that includes the Association’s Bylaws and will pay the annual membership fee to activate her membership.

IWAY yearly cycle starts in March and the yearly membership fee is 24,000 AMD.
Membership fees solely support the association; all charitable donations are held separately.
IWAY members should not use the IWAY name or IWAY contacts for their own benefit or for business purposes.
