Khndzoresk Trip May 2026

What a wonderful and inspiring weekend for the ladies of IWAY ✨

Together, we embarked on a memorable journey to #Goris and #Khndzoresk, discovering some of Armenia’s most remarkable natural, historical, and cultural treasures while enjoying the warmth of friendship and community.

Our adventure began with a visit to #Karahunj, one of Armenia’s most fascinating ancient sites. Standing among the mysterious stone formations and learning about their history sparked lively conversations and a sense of wonder about the rich heritage of our country.

In #Khndzoresk, we crossed the famous #Swinging bridge and explored the remarkable cave dwellings carved into the cliffs, where generations once lived. Walking through these ancient caves offered a unique glimpse into the resilience, creativity, and traditions of the people who called this extraordinary place home.

We also visited the tomb of Mkhitar Sparapet, paying tribute to one of Armenia’s legendary heroes and reflecting on the courage and determination that have shaped our nation’s history.

We were inspired by our visit to the GO Center where we learned about the impactful initiatives helping young people contribute to the future of the region.

Throughout the trip, we were surrounded by the breathtaking landscapes of Syunik, enjoyed delicious local cuisine, shared meaningful conversations, and created unforgettable memories together. The journey was filled with laughter, discovery, and the joy of experiencing Armenia through the eyes of friends.

More than a trip, this was a celebration of friendship, curiosity, and the spirit of exploration that brings our community together.

We returned to Yerevan with full hearts ????, beautiful memories, and an even deeper appreciation for the beauty and history of Armenia.
