For the third consecutive year, IWAY accepted the invitation of Green Lane NGO to participate in the "Harvest Festival: Rural Life and Traditions", celebrating Armenia’s rich agricultural heritage, rural traditions, and the people who keep them alive.
The festival offered IWAY members a wonderful opportunity to come together, connect with the community, and celebrate the cultural traditions surrounding the harvest. It also highlighted the important role women play in agriculture and rural life, recognizing the dedication of women farmers and artisans and their contribution to sustainable development and the livelihoods of their communities.
As part of its mission to support women across Armenia, IWAY sponsored the participation of two women entrepreneurs from Tavush and Meghri, supporting them in presenting and promoting their small businesses at the festival.
IWAY volunteers were also present throughout the event, sharing information about IWAY’s mission and initiatives, showcasing our accomplishments, and connecting with donors, supporters, and festival-goers.
IWAY’s participation in the Harvest Festival was a meaningful opportunity to celebrate Armenia’s cultural heritage while supporting women entrepreneurs, strengthening community connections, and promoting the values at the heart of IWAY’s mission.
