Harvest Festival 2022

The Harvest Festival, organized annually by Green Lane NGO, celebrates Armenia’s agricultural heritage, rural traditions, and the creativity of local producers. With a focus on promoting the sustainable development of agriculture and rural communities, the festival brings together farmers, artisans, entrepreneurs, and visitors to showcase the richness of Armenia’s regions.

In 2022, IWAY supported the participation of eight women from Armenia’s border and rural communities, providing them with an opportunity to present their products, connect with new audiences, and promote their work. Through two dedicated festival tents and the volunteer support of IWAY members, the initiative highlighted the talents and entrepreneurial spirit of women from across the country.

By creating opportunities for rural women to showcase their products and strengthen their connections, IWAY reaffirmed its commitment to empowering women, supporting local communities, and bettering the lives of women and children in Armenia.
