IWAY Christmas Charity Bazaar 2023

The IWAY Christmas Charity Bazaar 2023 brought together Yerevan’s international and local communities for a festive day dedicated to generosity, cultural exchange, and charitable giving. Held on December 3, 2023, at the Holiday Inn Yerevan – Republic Square, the Bazaar welcomed visitors to enjoy a full day of food, drinks and delicacies, handicrafts, entertainment, children’s activities, and IWAY’s popular White Elephant sale of donated treasures.

The event featured a lively entertainment program throughout the day, including violin, guitar, qanun and vocal performances by Sound Lab, as well as Marionette Theatre shows. Three raffle draws culminated in a Grand Raffle Draw, giving guests the opportunity to win special prizes while contributing to IWAY’s charitable mission. A dedicated Kids Corner offered activities including handicrafts, cookie decorating, storytelling, Adventure Bus activities, and face painting.

The Bazaar was made possible with the support and participation of a diverse diplomatic community. Embassies representing Bulgaria, China, France, Japan, Kazakhstan, Italy, Lithuania, Syria, the United Kingdom, and the United States supported the event, reflecting the international spirit at the heart of IWAY. The Association also expressed its gratitude to diplomatic missions, NGOs, artisans, corporations, donors, and volunteers whose contributions helped make the event possible.

Most importantly, the 2023 Christmas Charity Bazaar served a purpose beyond the festivities. Proceeds were directed toward projects in Armenia’s remote and border villages, with particular attention to communities hosting refugees displaced from Artsakh. Through the Bazaar, IWAY once again brought people together around a shared commitment to supporting vulnerable communities while celebrating the warmth, diversity, and generosity of the holiday season.
